ROLE: Support Worker (Alliance Project) – The Surrey Care Trust
LOCATION: Home based with some travel in Surrey
HOURS: 13 hours per week.
SALARY: £11.44 per hour

The Surrey Care Trust is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about, and capable of, helping people back into the labour market.

Working with adults who are long term unemployed and facing barriers to employment, the Support Worker will work with individuals to set goals, inspire and motivate them to achieve outcomes such as training and employment. Working independently you’ll be able to juggle your workload to be able to file and return the contract paperwork whilst meeting up with individuals to help them set and progress their goals.

Confident at using MS Office applications and with excellent communication skills you’ll be working with and motivating those who need support during these uncertain times. Supporting the marketing of the programme to get referrals, this is a varied and interesting role to help make a difference.

Funded by the European Social Fund, as part of the Building Better Opportunities fund, this role is on a fixed term contract for 13 hours per week.
