Shamley Green Village Care is a volunteer-run, community transport scheme, which provides assistance to any resident of Shamley Green parish who is unable to drive themselves or to use public transport easily. Volunteers help Shamley Green residents get to doctor’s or hospital appointments, as well as assisting with transport to shops and other local services. //Please only call the supplied number between: 9.00am-5.00pm only//

We are good neighbours scheme offering transport to surgeries, clinics and dentists. We can also run local errands such as prescription collection. We provide transport for those living within Milford and Witley. Anyone can use the service so long as only minimal assistance is required getting in and out of the car. The area covered is local plus Milford & Haslemere Hospitals. Only those who cannot use public transport or have any other means can use the service.  

A voluntary organisation providing practical assistance to people living in Elstead in Surrey who need help in their daily lives and who do not have access to other resources. //Please only call the supplied number between: 10.00am-12.00pm only//

A volunteer-run car scheme, providing transport for residents in the Hambledon area who would otherwise be unable to access local services. Volunteers use their own cars to take Hambledon residents to local doctor’s and dental appointments, pharmacies and the Post Office. The charge for each journey is a voluntary donation.

The scheme offers community based support for people who need help with some of the basics of day-to-day living or who may not have easy access to transport in Godalming. We need people to join us volunteers so get in touch.

Farncombe and Binscombe Good Neighbours is a volunteer-run, community transport service, covering the areas of Farncombe and Binscombe. Volunteers offer help to vulnerable members of the Farncombe and Binscombe community, by providing transport to doctors’ surgeries, hospitals and other destinations. Elderly, disabled or other residents in need of affordable transport, are eligible for this service. As well as drivers for our essential service to the community, we would love to hear from anyone in Farncombe who would be willing to answer a mobile phone for a couple of hours on one day.

EWCARE is a Good Neighbours scheme for Ewhurst and Ellen’s Green residents, putting individuals who require  non-specialist help with volunteers willing to provide that help for a small donation. EWCARE can arrange to medical and hospital appointments. Volunteers may also be available to assist with shopping, light gardening, small household repairs or simply to call by for a chat.

We are a Good Neighbours community transport scheme for Cranleigh residents, who would otherwise have difficulty attending necessary medical appointments. Volunteers use their own cars to transport clients to hospitals and doctor’s surgeries around the Cranleigh area. //Please only call the supplied number between: 10.00am-12.00pm only//

Chiddingfold’s Good Neighbours’ Scheme is an existing network of nearly 100 Good Neighbours covering every house in the Parish. These Good Neighbours welcome newcomers to the village, provide a first point of contact for all residents and can advise on what help is available and where to get it. Alongside this existing support network, a central database is being maintained of over 80 additional local people who have volunteered to offer help to those residents in need of assistance during the pandemic. The sort of assistance that is offered includes help with shopping, picking up pre-ordered shopping, picking up prescriptions from the doctor or chemist, running errands, walking your dogs, chats on the phone, lawn mowing, essential gardening and other essential assistance, possibly including emergency house repairs.
