Ground Floor accessible room, 4.25m x 8.5m (36sqm), Tea/Coffee station facilities, including a fridge, microwave, kettle, urn and crockery. Unisex toilets including a disabled facility off a spacious bright entrance hall. WIFI is also available. Capacity 40 standing/30 seated. There is parking at the back of the hall for approximately 20 cars.

Our large, carpeted hall is a light and airy space, perfect for anything from children's parties to fitness classes to business events.
The space can be configured into a variety of set ups depending on your needs with chairs and tables available for use.
The room includes a screen which can be plugged into a laptop and full WiFi is also available.

Through the two sets of double doors from the hall, you will find a spacious kitchen complete with oven, hob, microwave, water heater and crockery, glasses and cutlery. There is a large seating area perfect for a children's birthday tea, or an afternoon tea.

Upstairs we are able to offer our youth room which is perfect for older children. Our Youth Room party packages offer full use of all equipment, including a Wii, Playstation 4, table football, air hockey, pool table and a tv. We also offer a manned tuck shop for the duration of your hire for an additional fee.

The main hall is large enough for functions with up to 100 guests. It has an adjoining fully equipped kitchen, as well as a small stage with a sound system. Chairs and tables of two sizes are available for use.

The hall has modern clean toilets including facilities for the disabled and baby changing. There are automatic external and internal doors and ramps, making it suitable for all access requirements.

The Challen Room is a medium-sized meeting/seminar room upstairs, which can accommodate up to 30 people depending on room layout. It is a pleasant, cosy space, with a sink and tea/coffee-making facilities. Stacking upholstered chairs and small tables are available for use. The room is accessible via stairs with a stair lift.

The two biggest rooms each have their own toilets and well-equipped kitchen while the smaller third room has access to the Main Hall kitchen. All three rooms are available for hire between the hours of 08:00-23:00 (Mon-Sun) and WHVH does not charge more for evening or weekend hires. There is free parking available either in the WHVH car park or on nearby roads.

MAIN HALL
11m x 7.5m (36.1ft x 24.7ft) (not including the kitchen or the stage). Suitable for up to 120 people for a show or concert, 80 for a dance (including a band) and 80 or 90 respectively for a seated or buffet meal.

Well-equipped large kitchen (including serving hatch, commercial dishwasher, 2 x electric ovens, 1 x gas hob, larder fridge (no freezer), microwave oven, wall-mounted hot water heater for hot drinks and two kettles). Use of crockery and cutlery is included for up to 120 people (but no glasses).

5 toilets (3 ladies, 2 mens, babychanger available), free superfast Wi-Fi, ceiling-hung projector, pull-down screen, loudspeakers and amplifier. Use of tables and chairs is included in the hire charge and use of a piano is available upon request.

CEDAR ROOM
8.3m x 7.3m (27.2ft x 23.11ft) (not including the kitchen). Suitable for up to 50 people for a show, concert or seated/buffet meal.

Well-equipped kitchen (including serving hatch, 1 x electric oven, 1 x gas hob, larder fridge (no freezer), microwave oven, two kettles and one free-standing hot water urn). Use of crockery (for up to 35 people) and cutlery is included (but no glasses). Additional crockery can be arranged in advance if required.

2 toilets (1 ladies with baby changer and 1 mens, both with disabled access), free superfast Wi-Fi, pull-down screen and projector table (but you will need to provide your own projector). Use of tables and chairs is included in the hire charge and use of a piano is available upon request.

RUBIN ROOM
5.2m x 3.8m (17.11ft x 12.7ft) with 16 padded chairs in the room. Suitable for smaller groups such as Committee meetings, one-to-one classes or revision for children/young adults studying for exams. Includes free superfast Wi-Fi.

Shared access to the Main Hall kitchen and the cloakrooms situated behind the stage as well as the disabled cloakroom in the lobby.

The Main Hall and the Dora Honnor Room are both available for hire, individually or together.

The centre has wheelchair access from the car park, an easy access toilet and baby-changing facilities at the main entrance, and further toilets located at the rear of the building.

The Main Hall is a large, well lit, multi-purpose space with a polished floor marked out for badminton. It is heated during winter months. There is a large modern kitchen attached to the hall, complete with commercial cooker, refrigerator, freezer and microwave; fully fitted with worktops and a food preparation table.

Main Hall hire includes a water boiler for hot drinks, complete stock of crockery, cutlery and wine glasses and a selection of cooking utensils. A large serving hatch opens into the main hall.

Hall dimensions are 15m x 10m, with a usable ceiling height of 14 feet.

The Dora Honnor Room provides a comfortable meeting room suitable for up to 25 people. The room is carpeted and has its own chairs.

This room has a sliding wall that connects to the Main Hall and may be hired in addition to the Main Hall to give an even larger space.

A serving hatch connects the room with a small servery, suitable for the serving of light refreshments and is equipped with a water boiler for hot drinks, a refrigerator, cups and saucers and a sink.

The hall is equipped with tables and chairs to seat up to 120 people; the maximum capacity is 300 standing or 120 seated.

The Dora Honnor Room provides a comfortable meeting room suitable for up to 25 people. The room is carpeted and has its own chairs.

A cosy, carpeted hall, this space particularly lends itself to small children's parties, yoga and pilates.

A well-equipped galley kitchen is available for hirers.

MAIN HALL
Our Main Hall has a full-size professional stage with new overhead lighting and PA system. The capacity is 310 standing and 155 seated (not including the stage). A serving bar gives access to the refurbished, catering standard, kitchen, which can be closed off with a newly installed electric hatch. This hall also has access to changing rooms and additional toilets.

TAYLOR HALL
This popular self-contained hall, with its own kitchen and toilets, and a capacity of 160 standing or 80 seated also has access to the secure garden area, making it perfect for children’s parties or other outdoor events and fundraising activities. This hall also boasts a sports floor, making it ideal for dance and fitness classes.

SMALL HALL
Our Small Hall is adjacent to the Main Hall and can be accessed directly to the Main Hall if both halls are hired. It has access to the refurbished main kitchen, which can be closed off by an electric hatch, and the connecting door to the Main Hall can be locked for security. With a capacity for 90 standing and 45 seated this hall is ideal for small clubs and children’s parties; or larger events, such as weddings, if used in conjunction with the Main Hall.

COMMITTEE ROOM
An upstairs, carpeted meeting room with capacity 68 standing and 34 seated. This room has a small kitchenette with refreshment facilities, tables and comfortable stackable chairs.
