A unique opportunity to provide support, and information to survivors of Sexual Violence and educate professionals about Violence Against Women and Girls.
As an Outreach worker you will find creative ways of engaging women and girls who are marginalised by mainstream society, and support them in accessing Rape Crisis Surrey and Sussex long term specialist services.
To be an Outreach worker you should have an awareness of supporting women who have been involved/caught up in sex work, homeless women, BME/migrant women, women with drug and alcohol dependencies, older women, women with mental health needs, young women, and women affected by the criminal justice system, women with experience of living with Domestic abuse.
You will be passionate about ending Violence Against Women and Girls and use your voice to create awareness and challenge myths and stereotypes.
