A local enterprise project is inviting budding entrepreneurs to take advantage of the support on offer thanks to National Lottery funding.
Inspiring Enterprise offers free support to help develop the ideas, confidence and skills to set up a business or social enterprise. The project is funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery, through the Big Lottery Fund.
Specific support sessions include exploring self-employment as an option, business basics, face to face advice and networking opportunities.
Erica Sandford, Surrey Community Action’s Inspiring Enterprise Project Officer says: “We received such a lot of interest in the project last year that we’ve added two new trainers to the team to boost the support we can offer to people in west Surrey. If you have an idea for a business you’d like to develop further then we’d love to hear from you.”
To take part in the project, individuals must be over 16 years of age and not in employment. For more information, contact Surrey Community Action’s Inspiring Enterprise Administrator, Marisa Shaw on 01483 447124 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
