18 to 22 hours per week. Can be flexible in terms of how the hours are worked, could be over 3, 4 or 5 days. With 2 days based at our offices in Burpham.
The FTE salary range is £30,634 to £31,642. Salary based on 22 hours is 18,721 to £19,337

Passionate about everything to do with communications? Keen to make a difference? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Senior Marketing Communications Officer to join our small Marketing and Communications Team.
This is the perfect opportunity for a candidate who ls looking to showcase and improve their skills in all areas of marketing and communications, as this role will cover social, press and media, content creations, campaigns and email marketing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing our social media accounts, including creating, scheduling and posting high quality content, images and videos.
- Producing compelling and persuasive content about carers and caring – researching/interviewing where required and writing content, editing it for different audiences and channels including the website, social, press releases, reports, and information and marketing materials.
- Creating marketing emails, keeping recipient data up-to-date.
- Developing new sections, pages, forms, news items and events listings for the website.
- Across all platforms - Identify target audiences and tailor marketing strategies to reach them effectively, particularly considering Surrey’s harder to reach groups
- Report on digital activity using analytical tools.
- Keep up to date with social media trends and digital developments.
About you
Ideally you will have:
- Have excellent written communications skills and the confidence to publish your work unchecked.
- Be able to write well, to guidelines and appropriately for a wide range of audiences, including young carers, adult carers, and professionals.
- Experience managing paid ads on social.
- Be able to create strong, on brand digital content
- Experience of WordPress or similar CMS, Google Analytics, Mail Chimp and Hootsuite
