On the first and third Wednesday of every month, we provide a two course lunch plus tea or coffee for elderly residents in the Community Centre. The meal is always excellent and the cost currently is only £3.50. Everyone is welcome, men, women, husbands and wives but it seems to be particularly appealing to those who live on their own and like a chance to have a chat as well as a nice meal.
Transport to and from the lunch is provided for those who need it. If you are interested and feel like giving it a try, please ring us.
We are also always keen to hear from anyone who could augment our wonderful team of cooks and helpers.
