Free help and advice under one roof

Surrey Community Action has teamed up with Surrey Lifelong Learning Partnership to deliver free help and advice all under one roof.

The new Community Learning Centre is based at 109, Southway (previously the Bike Shop) just outside Guildford town centre. The centre offers free help and support around job seeking, interview skills and CV building, mental health, debt management and a whole lot more. Surrey Community Action’s Money Matters advisers also provide additional support for people needing help with saving money, budgeting, help with energy bills and accessing benefits and grants. Confidentiality is guaranteed.

As the centre’s priority is learning it also offers a range of free online courses for all levels. Courses include basic internet use and laptops are provided for learners.

The Community Learning Centre is also supported by other organisations such as Job Centre Plus and Project Aspire and is funded by Guildford Borough Council and Guildford Philanthropy. Free wi-fi access is also available as is tea and coffee.

The Centre is open every Thursday between 10.00am and 2.00pm and is compliant with all COVID regulations.  For more information, please contact Dave Pascoe on 01483 481789 or email dpascoe@surreyllp.org.uk
