Welcome to Subud Hall, Reigate.
The Reigate Subud Halls were built in the 1880s as a chapel and school. They comprise two large halls with a reception area between the two halls and a small garden to the rear.
Access is via the front hall or down the side of the front hall and through the reception area to both halls. Disabled access is available.
These delightful halls retain many of their original features. The halls are suitable for seminars, clubs, dance/exercise, children and family parties. We welcome enquiries from potential regular users.
THE FRONT HALL
The front hall is 14.2 meters by 7.7 meters (109 square meters) with front access and ramped side access and two toilets, new 60 sq m dance floor and a piano. A rear door leads to the reception area and through to the rear hall and more toilets and the garden.
THE REAR HALL
The high-ceilinged mellow Rear Hall has been recently refurbished and is used for training courses, workshops, seminars, rehearsals, choirs, meetings and exhibitions.
This rear hall is 12.2 meters x 7.3 meters (89 square meters) with access through the reception area and in to the rear garden. The hall has separate male and female toilets.
CATERING
The roomy reception area provides facilities for making light refreshments on a do-it-yourself basis. A local Co-op food shop is two doors down Allingham Road for easy shopping. You are welcome to use your own external caterers.
No charge is made for use of kitchen when booking one of the halls.
