St Mary the Virgin Church, Shalford

St Mary’s Parish Church, Shalford is a beautiful venue for concerts, art exhibitions, performance, regular community groups, coffee mornings, toddler groups, yoga, pilates, and more – as well as a wonderful light sacred space just to be, find rest, peace, prayer, and of course to join in all the worship and community activities of St Mary’s parish church.

The church offers a wonderfully flexible space, with 240 moveable chairs, heated stone floor, new AV system with large drop-down screen and high quality sound and live-streaming equipment, high spec flexible lighting system, balcony, digital organ, upright piano, 2 side chapels, coffee machines & self-service Pilgrim cafe table area, kitchen and toilet facilities, and ample parking at the back of the church.

We would be delighted to discuss with you hire of the church space for regular or one-off use. The church is much used as an active parish church and there is no church hall (Peasmarsh has the parish’s church hall), but we will do all we can to accommodate your/your group’s needs if we can.
