Surrey Minority Ethnic Forum is looking for Community Development Workers to join their team for three days a week to work on the funding titled ‘Many Hands’ funded by The National Lottery Fund, please see the details below.
Are you an experienced Community Development Worker who’s keen on working directly with multi-ethnic communities?
Do you have good language skills verbal and written English?
Are you flexible to work part time and do you have your own transport?
We are looking for someone who has the skills to work on the following:
Identifying the challenges faced by multi-ethnic communities
Experience of running a skill centred Drop In for women
Facilitating work with schools and children on Identity and Belonging
Identifying Community Leaders and Organising events
Various admin jobs related to the position
We can offer flexible part time working three days a week preferably Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Two days office based in Guildford, one day is on the field:
in Surrey Heath
in Reigate and Banstead areas.
£23,863 per annum pro rata for a 21-hour week 5% Pension
