Our new membership structure
We have introduced a new two-tier structure for our community building services.
Tier One – This tier is free to access. Funded by Surrey County Council, all of Surrey’s community buildings will be able to access ACRE village hall information sheets and template documents. Click here to view the range of information available and contact us to obtain your free electronic copy.
Tier One members also benefit from free desk-top advice and guidance via phone, email and a newly improved website and newsletter service.
Tier Two – This tier has an annual fee of £50.00. In addition to the universal Tier One services, Tier Two members will also be able to access a personal consultancy service from a specialist at Surrey Community Action on subjects such as governance, safeguarding, conflict resolution, grants and more.
We also provide two free training sessions per year delivered by Surrey Community Action or appropriate trainers, a free annual conference (once Covid restrictions permit) and access to a Surrey wide Basecamp community for networking and sharing of experiences and knowledge with other community buildings in Surrey.
Tier Two members also have exclusive access to the new Surrey Community Buildings Covid Recovery Grant.
(Some local authorities have agreed to fund the Tier Two service so contact us to see if you qualify for this service).
To access the additional range of benefits offered by our Tier Two membership, please contact our Community Buildings Administrator, Vicky Lednor – email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01483 447135.
