Surrey Community Action is seeking a proactive individual to be based at our Astolat office in Burpham, Guildford. You will be tasked to administer an effective office-based information, advice and guidance service to community buildings across Surrey.
You will initiate, encourage and support community buildings in meeting the needs of local communities.
In addition, you will signpost community buildings to funding bids and provide practical advice with applications.
You will have experience of working with people in community settings. You will be an excellent administrator who is well organised, able to balance multiple priorities and be someone who is good with using Office applications, managing databases and using social media.
Above all, this is a role for an enthusiastic, positive and helpful person with a passion for community work, who is good with people.
