We are looking for someone to:
• Provide office management and administrative support for Surrey Community Action, including human resources administration, office management and IT.
• Ensure the smooth running of the ‘Astolat’ charity hub, housing eight other charities and providing a range of shared facilities and services.
You will need to be organised and efficient; proactively managing the day-to-day operations of the charity and building, resolving issues effectively, and always thinking about how things can be improved.
Additional aspects of the role include managing conference rooms, assisting with conferences and events, providing DBS checks, along with administrative and housekeeping support to Surrey Community Action, and assisting the CEO.
For further details, please view the job description and person specification..
If you feel you have that special blend of administrative proficiency and excellent building management skills and are passionate about working with Surrey’s voluntary sector, then we want to hear from you.
To arrange an informal discussion with the Chief Executive Officer, Jason Gaskell, about the role, please email [email protected] or call 01483 566072.
To apply for this position, please send an up-to-date CV and cover letter to [email protected].
We welcome applications from all sections of the community and will offer interviews to all applicants with disabilities or from a minoritised community who meet the criteria for the role.
For exceptional candidates looking for a part time position, we would consider splitting the role into two part time roles. If that interests you, please contact us to discuss.
Closing date for applications is Friday 11 April 2025, however interviews will be ongoing, so an early application is recommended.
