We
are recruiting for people to join our Buddy service halow
care. You will be supporting young adults with a learning
disability, working on a one to one basis.
The main objectives of this role are to; promote life
skills, independence and social skills, and to assist young
people to access the local and wider community. Also to
support young people to take part in leisure activities
such as cinema, concerts, shopping, sporting events and
nightclubs. There will also be occasional opportunities
for residential experiences.
halow care puts a strong emphasis on the quality of the
service it offers to young people and we are looking for
individuals with the drive and enthusiasm to maintain our
high standards. You will need to be patient, empathetic
and adaptable. You will have a caring nature and the ability
to think on your feet, a good sense of humour is also essential.
Flexible hours are available however the role involves
a balance of weekday, evening and weekend work. There is
also time available in the school holidays. The work is
based in Guildford, West Surrey and the surrounding area.
The pay range is £7.00 - £9.00 per hour. All
contracts will be zero hours and hours cannot be guaranteed.
We currently have Buddy vacancies for substantial part-time
workers, ad-hoc work and bank staff.
