A local charity with a national profile
WLC is a charity providing and delivering innovative services
for disabled adults and children within North Surrey and
the surrounding areas. We assist over 500 families and
have an annual turnover of around £2M. The completion
of our rebuilding programme means we want to move forward
to the next phase of White Lodge’s development and
this is to recruit someone to a new Head of Service post.
We are looking for an individual who has experience of
and understands the provision of services for disabled
adults and children, their families and carers as well
as having the vision and skills to lead and develop our
staff teams.
We are looking for an experienced manager who has relevant
qualification. You will have excellent interpersonal skills;
a proven track record in dealing with people as you will
need to be able to communicate ideas and negotiate effectively
with all our stakeholders. Experience of Ofsted or Care
Quality Commission; an ability to combine marketing and
financial skills to generate new income; and an understanding
of how external influences could hinder or promote opportunities
to develop White Lodge in accordance with our charitable
aims and statement of purpose.
