Carers Support Waverley

Support Worker for identification of Carers in GP/surgeries across Guildford & Waverley

£10 per hour 25 hours per week
Current funding 7 months with option to extend being actively pursued

JOB PURPOSE: to identify carers within primary health care. To increase the number of carers registering with their GP’s and to subsequently increase those being referred on to their local carers support agency.

Working from home but travelling between the surgeries based in Guildford and Waverley

Finance Manager
£36,000 p.a. pro rata (10 hours per week)
Overseeing our financial and investment management operations, you'll maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all transactions and provide financial reports to the Director and Trustees. You'll also monitor the capital value of our investments.

You must be an accountant, with excellent IT skills and experience of SAGE and Excel.

Programme Manager - Grass Roots Grants
£25,000 p.a. (Full Time)
You'll manage and promote the Grassroots Grants programme, supporting community and voluntary organisations through encouraging, advising on and assessing grant applications. You'll build strong, lasting and beneficial relationships with local groups, monitor the programme's effectiveness and act as an ambassador for our work.

An enthusiastic, energetic self-starter with experience of successfully managing a grants programme, you've also got a thorough understanding of the issues facing the voluntary sector. You must be an excellent communicator, with superb interpersonal skills and you must be able to work flexibly.

Grants Administrator

£20,000 p.a. (Full Time)

You’ll provide administrative support to our grants team, maintaining the grants database and ensuring grant applications are complete. You'll also help to co-ordinate workshops and promotional events, and assist with the organisation of grants panels and committees.

You must have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. Experience of working with voluntary sector organisations would also be an advantage.

Fantastic staff needed to be part of Challengers 2008 play & youth teams Saturdays, Easter and Summer.

Disability Challengers provide high quality, creative play and leisure opportunities for disabled children and young people across Surrey.

All Disability Challengers staff need a ridiculous enthusiasm for play and to be totally committed to increasing opportunities and choices for disabled young people. You also need to have an enormous energy for play, to tell stories, play games and pass on some of that ridiculous enthusiasm for play to children.

As well as all of that; you need to have a sensitive, caring and practical approach to a play or youth scheme for disabled children and young people.
