The People’s Health Trust has identified Stanwell as a Local Conversation area.

This is a community development role, funded by the People’s Health Trust for 3 years, specifically for the Stanwell community. The purpose of the funding is to engage with and support local residents to design and deliver projects and activities that will benefit the community, to create stronger connection between people in the neighbourhood and to address health inequalities.

Priorities were identified from local consultation and are subject to ongoing engagement with the community, to ensure they reflect what is important to local people.

The role is to ensure the project reflects the People’s Health Trust’s Local Conversation ethos. The role will include: continually engaging with the local community to re-test local priorities, building on the priorities identified over the past 2 years and supporting the Local Conversation steering group, project/action teams that emerge under the different priorities and the wider community to deliver activities that support those priorities.
