Best Ever AGM

A new format and new venue attracted more delegates to Surrey Community Action’s AGM. Following the kind offer of Adrian White of Denbies Vineyard during his year in office as High Sherriff, the team at SurreyCA invited everyone to join them for tea!
		‘ AGM’s can be boring’ said Chief Executive Officer, Jean Roberts-Jones, ‘so we tried to make it a small but necessary part of the afternoon by having it between interesting workshops. The workshops covered issues on Measuring Outcomes, Procurement, Fit for Funding and Recruiting Trustees, giving everyone something of interest’.
‘ We are proud of our achievements’, said SurreyCA Chairman, Tim Prideaux, ‘so we wanted people to hear of our successes and plans for the future’. A review of our future plans is currently out for consultation see Business Plan 2008 – 2010 Consultation Document.

The 2008 AGM will be held on Wednesday 22 October at East Horsley Village Hall.
